Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): slowing of drive speed, rotary mower, drive speed
QuestionHi Michael.
I bought a craftsman rotary mower with power-propelled 6 months ago. I found it's very slow in driving since last week. I checked the wheels and drive belt. seems every thing is ok. just the front wheels have not enough power. what kind problem it is?
Thanks
Mark
AnswerHi Mark,
Check the drive engaging lever and cable to make sure that the drive control at the gear box is fully moving. If that is okay, then I would suspect a problem in the gear box, maybe worn gears. If the mower was new when you bought it, it may be under warrantee.
Let me know how you make out.
Michael
