Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): sears riding lawnmower quits after 15 minutes of cutting, riding lawnmower, piece of dirt

I have a neighbors mower that runs good for about 15 minutes then quits like it running out of gas. I took the fuel line off at the carb. and its not getting any gas. I took the fuel line off on the inlet side of fuel filter and it acted like it was vapor locked after i took the line off on the inlet side of filter gas would flow through the filter. i checked the cap thoughted the vent might be clogged but it was clear  the fuel line don't seam to be closing up  she just had anew filter put on . got any suggestions. thanks

Hi Robert,

You should get a good flow to the inlet of the carb.  If not, then something is clogged upstream.  All I can say is recheck the line, filter, and tank.  Next I would suspect the carb.  Maybe it has a piece of dirt inside.
