It acts like It IN gear all the time. When you put switch In neatrel IN still in gear.  Sense this trouble Its hard to start even with a new battery.

Hi Danny,

With a hydrostatic drive, there may be a problem with the unit itself.  You can check the easy things first, like the fluid level and linkage.  After that, I would suspect hydrostatic unit problems, especially if the mower is old.
