Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman lawn tractor model 917251471, craftsman lawn tractor, cable ends

When attempting to start my tractor, i get a clicking noise. Is this a key swith ignition problem?  i've already installed a new battery.  What else could it be?

Did you charge the battery?
Did you clean the battery cable end with a wire brush?
Did you clean the battery terminals with a wire brush?

The most common cause of clicking is dirty battery terminals/cable ends.  We find this quite often.

Clean the terminals and battery cable ends.
