Marc, because of terribly cold weather, I just tried one-teaspoon of carb cleaner added to the one-quart snow thrower gas tank. At least up till now, my problem as gone away.

Sorry Ken, I answer lots of questions and can't recall your specific problem.  I'll assume you have a carb problem again (blockage) that needs to be addressed.  Try to adjust the high speed mixture screw (open it) to see if it makes any difference.  If not, you will need to clean the carb again and also check the tank for debris.  Hope this helps.
