Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): snow thrower wheel removal, snow thrower, flat washer
QuestionMy snow thrower tire is flat, so I want to remove it. The manual's schematic shows the 'snap ring', which I easily removed, but there is a flat washer in the way, which stops the wheel from coming off. A 'cap' (with a hole in it) sits over the end of the axel, holding the washer in place.
How do I remove that cap?
Thanks
AnswerNot sure I understand what cap you are referring to but I can save you a step. You don't need to remove the tire and rim assembly to repair the tire. You can break one bead on the tire and replace the tube (or install one if not previously equipped). Hope this helps.
