Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Belt Change (self Propeled 21), vertical shaft, quantom

Marc-I have a Ameriacan Yards Mower 21" self propeled B&S 5hp Quantom Mod HWSDP225A . I need to change the belt ? does the blade mount un-screw or off with puller .If so clockwise or counter ? Isee the counter ballance is keyed and don't know if blade mount is same ?Vertical shaft           Thank You for your help

Answer
The bolt holding the blade and hub on is regular RH thread (CCW to get it off).  The hub should slide right off once the bolt is removed.  The hub will either be keyed or have a built-in key that matches the crankshaft.  It may be necessary to use a puller if it's stubborn coming off but you may not need to remove it to change the belt...you'll have to determine that though.  Hope this helps.
