i have brute lawnmower and have installed new plug and made sure everything is very clean was gauranteed to start for 5 yrs with only one or two pulls but wont. have to pull about six or seven times ... need a solution to this problem please ...i even put new spark plug wire ..

Hi Nick,

The delay in starting is probably due to a lack of fuel to the engine at start up.  Is there a primer bulb or choke?  Is the plug wet or dry just before it starts?  The carb may need to be removed, cleaned and/or the float adjusted.  A carb rebuild kit may be needed.
