Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): what to do, burning oil, lawn mower
QuestionMy husband is working and I am trying to mow the lawn. We have a ride lawn mower. I was doing the lawn when the motor started to smoke so I turned it off and left it alone. I need to know what to look for so I can fix the lawn motor. Is there something you can help me so I can fix it and finish so I can surprise my husband.
AnswerHi Denise,
Sorry, for the delay. I'm sure it's too late for the surprise. As far as the smoking, it may be an internal engine problem resulting in burning oil. If it has been happening for a while the mower may just be worn out and will continue to burn oil and smoke until rebuilt or replaced.
Good Luck,
Michael
