Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Stihl FS45 trimmer needs tune-up, stihl fs45 trimmer, stihl dealer

I have an nearly new Stihl FS45 weed trimmer (5+hrs). However it has been setting idle for three years, because I had a lawn service until recently. It will not start, there was gas left in the tank when it was hung up. I have emptied the old gas and replaced with new. I checked the spark plug which looks brand new. the hose and pressure bulb are not dry rotted. What components should I replace and what task should I do to bring it back to life? Additionally whould you convert it over from the string to a blade set-up?

If it had fuel sitting in it the whole time, I recommend a complete rebuild of the carb (diaphrams and clean) and fuel system (filter, lines, etc.).  To convert it to a blade setup, all you need to do is go to the Stihl dealer and they should have an application chart and the necessary kits to do it.  Hope this helps.
