Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower pull cord, briggs and stratton, recoil spring

briggs and stratton engine, I need to replace the pull cord. How?

I recommend for everyone that asks about repairing recoils to take it into a good shop.  If you haven't done one before, the job may end up costing more (if you damage the recoil spring) and the repair is relatively inexpensive.  If they will let you, watch the technician as he fixes it so you will know how to do it next time.
