Please tell me how to fix recoil starter on a lawn edger.  This is an old edger and I don't know any specifics.  No repair work has been done on it.

I recommend for everyone that asks about repairing recoils that they are better served taking the recoil in to a good shop to have it repaired.  It can be difficult, more costly and potentially dangerous if you haven't done one before.  Hope this helps.
