Working on an old mini bike..need point gap and plug gap for B&S 4hp engine.  Hope you can help!Thanks!

Send me your model, type number and I'll look it up for sure.  I'd try .018 first, older engines usually don't run well with any wider gap.

These are the numbers on the shroud:  100202 0472-01 74030407
Can you confirm year..told 1963.  What about plug gap?  Thanks alot

According to the numbers, the engine is a 1974, the first 2 digets in the code number.

The plug gap is .030.

If you get it running, you may want to install an electronic ignition system...they are much more reliable than points.
