Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): sunroof motor, stock motor, junk yard

i was wondering if you knew if a motor to my car's sunroof could be repaired?  the cost of a new one is outrageous. i can't find anything in manuals about it!! (95 SC1 Saturn)

thanks so much. the previous guy i asked (saturn expert...hah) didn't help at all.

Hi Kate,

Sorry, I don't know.  I would think that the motor, if removed, could either be repaired by a motor repair shop or a non-dealer replacemnet could be found for much less than a stock motor.

Afterthought: A junk yard may be a motor source at 1/2 price.
