Snowmobile Repair: not turning over, delivery problem, fuel delivery

i have a 1997 ski do  formula z 583.  it will start if you put gas  in the cylinders manually.  then it shuts off immediately after starting.

   It appears you have spark. Try starting the sled with out adding gas. Crank it over 10-15 time. Remove the plugs. If they are dry, which they probably will be, you have a fuel delivery problem. First, take the carbs off, and clean them thoroughly, paying special attention to the inlet needles and seats, which are most probably sticking and not allowing fuel to flow through the carb. If, after cleaning the carb, the sled still does not run, here are a steps to take. Remove the fuel filter and replace it with a new one, you can purchase a new filter at www.ronnies.com  .  Also, you may want to make sure the fuel pump impulse hose is connected, and that the pump is not clogged inside.
