The two torx screws have been removed but the third is a what appears to be a hex bolt that none of my SAE metric or standard hex sockets fit on. It is marked with a small 98 with a line under it. QUESTION: Sorry, I tried to resubmit it with this info but it wouldn't let me.
2003 Saturn L200 4cyl
I believe I found my own answer but could use your confirmation. It looks like the third bolt is for security and takes a different socket than standard sets. I found an Allen head hex key online and Sears says they have sets for sale. Is this what I am looking for?
Thanks, David
AnswerHi David:
As far as I know, the only bolts that secure the lower covers together on Saturn are all a standard size. Some use a 7mm and some use a smaller SAE size. Many models have 6 bolts, so make sure you have found all of them. The biggest problem we run into is the depth that these bolts are in. We use a long tipped nut-driver as sockets tend to get stuck inside the plastic and cause more problems.
Good luck
