Steering Column Repair: 1987 Dodge W100 4x4 (no tilt) steering colum, salvage yards, steering colum

I have a very tempremental steering colum, as i hear they all are at this year. At this point I do not want to go to a floor shifter. It has a problem wanting to go into park. Upon taking apart the colum I re-greased it, but do not think someone I bought the truck from put it back together right. it has a lot of pieces that could go diffrent ways. I AM LOOKING FOR A DIAGRAM on the colum, so that it goes back together the right way.

Hi Egan:

I have looked for an old exploded view of your column, but it's too old for me to find a good one.
If you cannot piece it together then all I can suggest is replacing it with a good used one.

For used parts...Try this site.  You may be able to find what you need.

It's the website all the salvage yards use when they say "Hang on--let me see if my other yard has it".  Actually it's an online database of all the salvage yards in America.  You can search by part, location or price
