Steering Column Repair: Tilt Wheel Broken, dodge grand caravan, 2005 dodge grand caravan

Hi I have a question about my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT.  The Tilt wheel which makings the wheel adjust up or town is broken.  How do you fix something like this?  I can move the tilt arm back and forth but can't move the wheel.  It is very uncomfortable driving with the wheel in the down position all the time.  Any ideas would be great.  .....

Hi Tim:
The tilt mechanism is not servicable on your column.  The only thing you can do is remove the covers and see if the cable is connected to the release lever on top of the column.  If it is, then you will need to replace the column assembly.  If it's not, then obviously reconnect it and you should be fine
