Steering Column Repair: 72 eldorado steering column, cadillac eldorado, tilt column

72 Cadillac eldorado convertable tilt and telescoping steering column. How do I remove the directional and cruise control lever from the column. The sector gear from the ignition lock is spinning and I must remove the housing to repair/replace it.

They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos and photo instructions (for the telescopic portion).  Although the video instructions are for a Chevrolet Truck, the column design is similar to yours.
