Steering Column Repair: SRS Code 33, airbag systems, 1997 ford f150

I am getting An SRS code 33 on my 1997 Ford F150 4.2L and was wondering what are the possible causes and repairs for this code.  Also how to get rid of the code.

Hi Mike:

A code 33 is in the passenger airbag circuit---

33 Passenger's Airbag (SRS) Module Circuit High Resistance Or Open Circuit

If you have an on-off switch on the truck, switch it and see if the code goes away.  That will help you understand if it's in the switch or in the airbag itself.
