Steering Column Repair: steering column, steering columns, makes and models

the two u joints are they replaceable?

I need more info like the type of vehicle etc. Some makes and models have replacements available.
From my experience of working on steering columns for 17 years, I have never seen the need to replace them.
The only time I even considered the "U" joints to be a problem was with 4x4s with a body lift which would create an unatural angle.
