Subaru Repair: 93 Impreza, idle speed control, subaru

My Subaru runs great but when making stops it will stall sometimes starts right back up and idles fine has almost 200,000 mile and you can't even tell if the engine is running. Has anyone encoutered this problem before?

There are many possibilities, I would start with cleaning the ISC (Idle Speed Control ) with an approved cleaner and go from there.

If you aren't sure if thats a task for you take it somewhere that is familiar with Subaru local to you and let them have a look..
