QuestionI've been having a problem, where after sitting at a stop sign or light, the car will hesitate when accelerating. It's now spitting out a p0420 and p0400 code, thoughts? Oh, she has about 150,000 miles on her, and just got a tune-up.
AnswerPO 400 is an EGR System code, and a malfunction in that system could cause a hesitation.
Po420 is a Catalyst code and wouldn't affect the cars performance unless it was clogged and that would be pretty hard to imagine on a Subaru.
The hesitation may not be related to the 2 codes you have set.
