Subaru Repair: Changing spark plug wires, head gasket leak, spark plug wires

While I was changing my spark plug wires, I notice oil on the spark plug wire boot when I removed it from the plug. Is this a sign of a head gasket leak?

Hi Karl,

You have leaking spark plug tube seals, you need to remove the valve covers, replace the valve cover gaskets, spark plug tube seals, oil filler tube O-ring and valve cover bolt seals.

Before you do all of this I would suggest to look at the head gaskets for external leaks as well.
