Subaru Repair: o2 sensor, o2 sensors, kim kim

Hello,
I have a Subaru 2004 Outback 2.5L automatic with a failed HO2S13 code from AutoZone. Do I have 2 O2 sensors front and
rear that need to be replaced? Where are they located?

Kim,

You have a code if you want to guess at what the car needs based on the code then yes the vehicle has front and rear 02 sensors, some 04's have more than 2.  They are located in the exhaust system, the front 02 or also called the air/fuel sensor is in the primary catalyst and the rear is located at the rear catalyst.
