QuestionQUESTION: I also have that AT Temp light flashing several timed right after start up and then it goes out. The car handles just fine unless i take sharp turn and then in seems to stutter or almost stop.
What is the most likely cause and what can I expect to pay to fix it?
ANSWER: The AT temp light flashing means that there is a problem some where in the drive train. There should be a code in the transmission control module> You will need to take it somewhere and have it scanned, to find out what the problem might be. Sorry nothing I can do from here. good luck.

QUESTION: Thanks! that was fast!
Could you tell me... Should I brace myself for a big repair bill? Or could it be a small issue?
Second... my car is under 100k - would that possibly be covered under warranty?
AnswerHard to say, if it's tires you will probably need to replace all 4, can run anywhere from $350.00-$600.00+TX, depending on the type of tires you want. If it's an axle, your looking approx. $450.00. The vehicle came with a 3yr/36,000 bumper - bumper, 5yr/60,000 mile power train, 8yr/80,000 mile on computer and converters. Unless you purchased Subaru Added security up to 100k, and I think the longest time you can that for 8yr, you would be out by time. So i would have to say that it wouldn't be covered by warranty. I hope this helps.
