Subaru Repair: 1999 impreza outback sport sluggish on acceleration, outback sport, catalytic converters

My sport is sluggish upon acceleration.  When taking off from a stop it feels as though the car is bogged down.  It doesn't matter if it is warm or cold.  No codes are being thrown.  I took it into the dealership and a few mechanics they though catalytic converters...but its not...due to the lack of code, i can find no answers and it has been months since the problem started.  i get regular services, but no one can tell me anything...do you have any ideas?  Please help. or if you need more info...i don't mind, but i am at my wits end.

The only thing I can suggest it to run some fuel injector cleaner through the system the next time you fill your tank. What you are describing is very symptomatic of a bad catalytic converter but there are always less expensive issues that could be the cause too.
