Subaru Repair: Squeal upon starting, subaru outback, squeal

Question
Recently my 99 subaru outback 2.5L MT with 78000 miles started having a loud 2-3 second squeal right after being started. Is this a starter bearing?

        First thing to check is your ALT, and A/C belts, and even snug them a little. It sounds like a belt noise, hopefully not the timing belt. If adjusting the drive belts, you still have the squeal, take it and have it looked at. I hope this helps.
