whats the  most  a towing company  in va can charge a day  for  storage

well such a loaded question here.

In some cases, the tow company is allowed to charge what it wants as a storage price due to the fact that is towed the vehicle as owners request, or as a non consent tow (IE   Tow away from a parking lot)  

Then in some cases the local police, sheriff or state troopers might have the tow company under a contract which specifies the charges allowed on tows which are ordered by that agency.

And then Virginia in an attempt to "rein in high towing costs" have created a department which is trying to set up rules for towing and storage.  I know that they were looking at rates and that got taken to court but I am not sure of the outcome on that issue...
