Towing Issues: towing a car in florida with a placard hanging in it., rearview mirror, t park

I am useing a friend condo to recover from neck and back surgery.I just found a warning on my car saying I can't park in my friends assigned spot and the association will tow my car. I have my handicapped play card hanging from the rearview mirror. Can they tow it. Thank You  ED

Well, first of all if the condo complex requires that vehicles be registered or on file you are in trouble.

And if the spaces are assigned then you will be in trouble also.

A handicapped (think that is what you are talking about) placard is not a park anywhere - disregard any rules kind of thing. You still have to follow the rules.

All it is really good for is to "LEGALLY PARK" in handicapped spaces without penalty.

So guess that my answer would be yes they can tow it.
