QuestionHi,
Im in the east side of Cleveland. My car was towed because it was parked in
front of our driveway. Its a four unit house and the driveway is not a full
driveway. It only goes up to the sidewalk and then it changes into a walkway.
No one is allowed to park in there, first because its a walkway and secondly
because there is not enough room. All the people in our house park there
with no problem. My car was there because i had an accident and have to
walk on crutches. It was convenient for me and closer for me. I can also talk
to my landlord and he can also support that we do not have a full driveway.
Do you think i have a case? And if so, what should i do? Can i file a claim?
AnswerJavanni,
If the city authorized the tow, I would not expect to be reimbursed for the towing fees. I would call the city offices and find out who you can talk to regarding this matter.
