QuestionQUESTION: Hi,
I had a flat tire on the highway and called a tow company. After they towed my vehicle home my radiator began to leak. Is it possible to damage a radiator during
towing?
Thank you

ANSWER: it is very unlikely that it had anything to do with the towing of the vehicle as the radiator is higher than any part of the vehicle a tow truck part would come in contact with... But there are a few exceptions to that due to vehicle design...
Unfortunately you did not tell us what kind of vehicle was towed and how the vehicle was towed (flatbed or wheel lift (by the tires) tow truck)
So I really can not answer this question.

QUESTION: The vehicle is a 1999 Ford Windstar and it was towed by wheel lift at the front of the vehicle.
AnswerWell the Windstar is one where there is not much of a chance that the radiator got hit while being towed...
I think it was just one of those "FLUKES" that happen... (I once changed a tire and the customer complained that by doing that it changed all the radio station programing on his radio)
I highly doubt that anything that was done to tow the vehicle, affected the radiator.
