Towing Issues: towed car and parking ticket, nut shell, parking zone

If I recieved a ticket for being in a no parking between 7 & 10am can the police department tow and pound my vehicle? is that legal?

Well, in a nut shell the fact that you got a parking ticket, the vehicle was still there in the no parking zone...

Should the Police department issue a ticket every 5 minutes or so cause it is still there ?

Remember the no parking is for a reason... Maybe it is for the use of that area for an extra lane of traffic during the morning commute.. Who knows really since I have just a general question here...

But yes towing of the vehicle is legal, after all the ticket also establishs that it "was parked there" before it was towed.
