Towing Issues: TOWING DAMAGE, mercedes 560 sec, drive wheels

Hi,

Quick question: Is a mercedes 560 SEC ok to be towed trom front?

Ever since towing my transmission is shot.

Well talk about a very loaded question

Yes it can be towed from the Front.  I guess you want to know what caused the transmission to be bad..


First of all I want to show you want specs are on your vehicle, check out the link below:

It shows that it can be towed on its drive wheels which means that you can pick up the front and go down the road with it for 30 miles at 30 mph...  BUT that is for a well maintained vehicle basically like off the show room floor

Ok what was the reason for the tow ?  
Illegally parked
It was broke down

How far was it towed, what kind of conditions...


I hate to say it but I know there is more to this than you mentioned...
