Towing Issues: ford van towing capacity, ford clubwagon, ford van

Hi, I have a 92 Ford clubwagon, 4.9 6 cyl, automatic. I'm trying to find out the
towing capacity. I have a 25' 5,000 lb trailer but I think it's probably too heavy
for the van. Any insights?

I really have no answer or idea where to find the information other than calling a dealer and asking if they can tell you more about it... I do know that there are a few factors which do change the numbers....

I found that the van is 4772 pounds curb weight,  and that might be a factor...

Sorry for the lack of information,  I wish I could find a great reference source for this kind of information.
