Where can I rent a mini van or SUV that will allow me to tow a u-haul 8x5 trailer?  From Seattle to LA

I really don't know, but my guess is most rental agencies will specifically disallow any towing.

You can rent vehicles designed to tow trailers at a U-haul location and also most other rental outfits.  Rent the entire rig and know it is covered by insurance etc.
