Can I tow 4000 lbs ? I have all wheel drive the boat trailer has breaking device, I towed it twice with ease but can I do it again?

My researc shows the 2.7L V6 having a tow capacity of 2800 pounds and the 3.3L V6 up to 3500.

Your owners manual should address towing issues, have you ever looked at it?  This is a new vehicle, I would expect the dealers to have towing guides.  Get one.

based on what I found I would say you are over the capacity and I would not recommend you tow that much load.
