Towing Issues: Trailer wiring, toyota 4runner, hot wire

Hello,

I have a 1993 Toyota 4Runner, I need to wire up for my trailer. I have a flat4 wire from my trailer. I temp wired from my tail lights and somehow caused a short. Is there a diagram? Could you suggest how to wire this truck?

I don't know what happened, I answered this the same day but somehow it didn't get posted.

AS for the short, go back to where you started and undo any changes you made and inspect.  You will probably find what happened.  Chances are you got a hot wire into a ground.
