Towing Issues: can i sign my totalled truck over to the towing company., storage fees, acident

My truck was in an acident and was totalled.  Is it true that if I sign my truck over to the towing company within 1 month of the acident then I am not responsible for  the towing charges?

Sorry to say this, but any arrangements regarding payment of towing and storage fees, are between you and the towing company... There is no law that says that fees owed will be forgiven in exchange for receiving the title..

Towing services have expenses to cover which is the basis of the fees... Storage fees cover the ground rental and the responsibility of safekeeping your vehicle..

Act quick on what ever you do, as storage increases daily...
