Towing Issues: Towing, 1997 pontiac sunfire, pontiac sunfire

Hi-
I am moving from Naples, FL to Orange, CA; and I am trying to figure out if I can tow one of our two vehicles- we have a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire and a 2005 Civic Hybrid. I can't find towing specs anywhere, do you have any suggestions? Shipping a car is not an option (financially), so we would like to drive one and tow the other behind, but I can't find any information about whether this would work with these two vehicles. Thanks!!!

Well, first of all,  I am wondering how you are shipping your belongings to California...   If you are using a moving company they might be able to take a car with them...

Now the only way to move two vehicles is to use a tow dolly or a car trailer.  But most tow vehicles using this way is recommended to use a larger vehicle than what you have available..    Plus I would bet that neither of the vehicles has a trailer hitch assembly rated as a class 2 or better...

If you want to check out this issue with U Haul you might find out what would be needed to do this job...
