Towing Issues: parking lot tow cost, mileage fee, tow fee

My car was parked in a private lot and got towed legally.  The charge to get it out of it's 12 hour stay at the tow-lot was 320 dollars.  Is this reasonable and/or typical for San Diego?  I expected something more like 150, it seams like 320 is really gouging and I wonder if it's legal.

This amount seems a bit high but even though it was only 12 hours as you stated, I believe there might be a few extra things which were included...  I know there was a tow fee, mileage fee, storage fee (which is charged when it gets to the yard) and most likely a gate fee (for after hours release / redemption ) of the vehicle..
