Towing Issues: trailer towing with 1989 buick park avenue, buick park avenue, time transmission

I have a 1989 buick park avenue that is an extra vehicle so I am not worried about wear and tear. I just purchased a 3500 pound boat. I only need to tow the boat 1/2 mile back and forth to a ramp which is not very steep. will this vehicle do the job?

Well I really looked for information on the towing rating for the Buick.  It does not seem to be found...

I have no real answer on this as it might or not do the job..  It might do it for a while, and then you might have problems developing at a later time.  Transmission, Brakes and the cooling system all need to be looked at and watched for the possibility of damage happening there.
