My Paseo stalls everytime its on idle, it seems to stall less when the AC is turned on. What can this be?

It can be caused by an idle speed that is too low, when the a/c is turned on the engine is designed to speed up, if it hasn't had a tune up in a long time I would recommend doing it, include spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor and an air and fuel filter.
