Hello, I reaklly appreciate you'ere devoition to answering questions. My Camry is idiling at 2000RPMS randomly. When I am driving i put my foot on the gas and take it off and the car moves as if it is on cruise control. I have to brake more then use my gas. It also shifts really hard when I put it into drive from park. There are 170,000 miles on this car. I have always done oil changes and have fixed any problem almost immediatley. Please help me. Thank you

This may be due to excessive carbon deposits in the throttle body so I would recommend cleaning the inside of the throttle body using a chemical spray such as air intake cleaner and a nylon brush to clean the carbon out with the throttle plate all the way open.
