Toyota Repair: 2001 TOYOTA AVALON BRAKES, toyota avalon, disc brakes

I HAVE A 2001 TOYOTA AVALON, 3.0L.  THE FRONT DISC BRAKES PUT OUT A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF BRAKE DUST.  ARE THERE BETTER PADS TO USE OR ARE THEY ALL THE SAME?

There are pads that put out less dust, but they are more expensive.  Check with a local parts store to see what they have available.
Most common is semi-metallic (which is probably what you have now.  The most expensive and least dust producing is Ceramic.  There are also Non Asbestos Organic (NAO) and Low Metallic NAO.
