Toyota Repair: Ignition coils, sienna xle, toyota technician

I have a 98' Sienna, XLE.  I had an ignition coil replace in January & I've been diagnosed yesterday that I need 2 replaced now.  Ck engine light came on & I took it immediately to the dealer.  Felt like it was running on 4 cylinders instead of 6.  Why has this happened again so soon & now 2 are bad, is my question.  I appreciate your expertise.

It would really help if I knew how many miles are on the vehicle. It's extremely rare that a coil goes bad on any Toyota! A really competent Toyota technician needs to look at this issue and find out exactly what is going on, (it could be a plug boot or wire)
