Toyota Repair: DVD player broken, stereo shop, toyota sienna
QuestionI was recently told that to fix my DVD player in my 2005 Toyota Sienna would cost $5,300. That's utterly ridiculous. Can you tell me how to get this fixed at a cheaper cost and/or where I should go to get it fixed. Clearly going to the dealer is the wrong answer.
AnswerBy any chance did you purchase an extended warranty on your van? If not, I would consider talking it to an independent stereo shop and explore your options. I am pretty sure you could find a decent DVD player to replace the one you have at a fraction of that cost. Maybe look on the internet, see if you can locate that same model DVD player and have a stereo shop install it.
