Toyota Repair: Toyota 18RG, toyota 18rg, torque specification

Question
Can you inform me of the head bolt tensions for this engine and the order of tightening. The engine has ben run in  and I need to adust the settings.

I will assume that you mean torque specification and sequence?

The specs say 58ft lbs in sequence. I recommend higher torque (70ft lbs) In regard to sequence, start with the center bolts and work your way out on both sides until you reach the outer portion of the head.
