Toyota Repair: 91 toyota pu, spark plug wires, timing belt

10 seconds after a clean start it is difficult to keep rpm sufficient to avoid stalling.  First km of driving is lurching and lack of power.  After driving for 5 minutes runs pretty well although a little weak on power and at idle.  Just the first two minutes a problem.

Possibly just an engine misfire, check the spark plugs and the spark plug wires, if they look original then try replacing them, if not there may be a more serious problem from low compression to a possible headgasket problem. Another thing to consider may be the timing belt, it may be worn and has slipped on the gears.
