i have a dead miss in my 4cyl engine it is in the #4 cylinder what could it be it straightens out above idle  22 re is the motor type

There are several reasons why your engine could misfire in the #4 cylinder. How many miles are on it? Is it an automatic or stick? You could have a broken head gasket, bad spark plug wire, bad plug, bent valve, burnt valve, cracked distributor cap, faulty rotor, bad throttle sensor...the list goes on and all you can do is start with the process of elimination. Begin with the least expensive and go from there.
